I am currently training for another self-funded, Epic Charity Challenge that is paying tribute to the soldiers of the WW2 Bataan Death March.
On March 4th, myself and 20 others will be doing a self-supported, 100-mile run/walk with a 33 hours time limit in Luzon, Philippines.
During this challenge, I will be re-tracing the arduous 100 mile march that the 60,000 soldiers took when they were taken to prison camps. These soldiers made the trek in intense heat and were subjected to harsh treatment by Japanese guards. Thousands perished in what became known as the Bataan Death March.
I have committed to raise $6,000 individually, all of which will be donated to the National Ability Center in Park City,
The National Abilities Center is a non-profit that empowers individuals and soldiers with physical and mental disabilities by building self-esteem, confidence and lifetime skills through sport, recreation, and educational programs.
By doing this challenge and raising the money, we are not only paying tribute to those who sacrificed everything for our freedom, but also current soldiers who are in need of peace.
Will you donate to this Epic Charity Challenge and the National Ability Center?
